Stephen B. Hatcher
11/12/1955 – 9/16/2018

The memorial service for Stephen Hatcher will be held on Saturday, September 22^nd, 2018 at 1:00 PM at HOLY TRINITY PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH, located at 350 S. Hyde Park Avenue, Tampa, FL  33606.  The family asked that anyone seeking to make donations, consider donating to Tampa Urban Young Life at PO BOX 46414, Tampa, FL  33647, or to one’s favorite charity.  

            Stephen B. Hatcher, a beloved member of the ZKS family, passed away on September 16, 2018, following a heroic battle against cancer.  Steve, who joined the firm shortly after its inception, was a highly esteemed and successful Real Estate and Trust and Estates attorney and the President of the Firm for 14 years. He received his LLM in Taxation and held the highest rating of AV by Martindale-Hubbell.  Steve was certified by Peacemakers International, a member of The Jobs Partnership of Florida, a graduate of Lifework Leadership and an Elder at Orangewood Presbyterian Church. 

            Steve will be remembered for his attention to detail and sharply focused legal skills. His quiet, calm demeanor always reflected his total preparation and dedication to his clients. Those who were close to Steve will remember his warm heart, unwavering faith and exceptional depth of caring for those he knew were struggling through challenges in life.  Steve was prayerfully concerned for those around him and encouraged others to use their gifts to impact all that they could. 

            The firm is indebted to Steve for leaving a legacy of kindness, as well as his constant dedication to training those around him to practice with excellence; he raised the bar for all of us. Steve was a faithful husband to Becky, his wife of 40 years, and a devoted father to their two outstanding children, Nathan and Ben, daughter in laws Katie and Melody and three beautiful grandchildren Sophie, Evie and Stephen.  Steve will be greatly missed by all.
