On March 31st, Orange County Government officials and Wendover Housing Partners broke ground on a 120-unit affordable housing unit for seniors in the Pine Hills area.
Hawthorne Park is the third complex developed by Wendover in the Central Florida area. These developments will provide much needed affordable housing and lay the groundwork to revitalize the communities they reside in.
ZKS attorneys have represented Wendover Housing Partners since their inception over 20 years ago. On the Hawthorne Park project, ZKS handled the deal from the initial contract through closing. John “Jack” Grygiel led the tax credit application process and construction loan closing, and N. Dwayne Gray oversaw the land acquisition, title, and land use issues. D. Scott Baker and Matthew Petra lent their legal expertise to the Hawthorne Park deal as well.
