ZKS is pleased to announce that Andrew H. Thompson has graduated from the Florida Fellows Institute, Class V, of the American College of Trusts and Estates Counsel (ACTEC).
The ACTEC Florida Fellows Institute was created to develop future leaders in trust and estate law through a series of in-depth educational sessions led by subject matter experts in each field. To be accepted into the Florida Fellows Institute, one must be nominated by an ACTEC Fellow and selected through a competitive application process. The American College of Trust and Estate Counsel is a national organization of lawyers elected to membership by demonstrating the highest level of integrity, commitment to the profession, competence and experience as trust and estate counselors.
Andrew joined ZKS in 2016, bringing significant experience in estate planning, probate and trust administration, and tax matters. He is seen as a leader in the trusts and estates Bar in Florida, receiving the designation of a “Rising Star” as nominated by peers for Florida Super Lawyers magazine.
Andrew is an active member of several committees of the Real Property, Probate and Trust Law Section of the Florida Bar, and will soon begin his tenure as vice-chair of the Estate and Trust Tax Planning Committee.
