Welcoming new leadership 

Congratulations to David J. Melvin, who was recently named a Shareholder at ZKS. David’s extensive experience in corporate law, intellectual property, and licensing has significantly contributed to our firm and our clients’ successes. We look forward to his continued leadership and strategic insights.

We’re also excited to welcome Terence “Terry” Brennan to our firm. Terry brings decades of expertise in corporate, intellectual property, and technology transactions. His depth of experience includes advising public, private, and emerging growth companies in private equity, venture financing, healthcare technology matters, mergers and acquisitions, and intellectual property.

Additionally, Mark Rabinowitz joins ZKS as a board-certified Marital and Family Law attorney. Mark’s specialized knowledge in complex family law matters, including divorce and child custody, expands our firm’s capabilities, enabling us to serve our clients’ evolving needs.

Empowering school leaders

Shareholder Lori W. Smith recently addressed attendees at the Schools United Leadership Day Conference, providing practical legal strategies designed to protect Christian schools from potential claims and reputational risks. Her presentation fostered an engaging environment for learning, networking, and professional development.

Giving back to our community

Supporting Local Nonprofits at the Victory Cup Initiative!

ZKS was an Alumni Sponsor again this year of the Victory Cup Initiative 10th Annual Storytelling Showcase Breakfast in Orlando, supporting ongoing training programs for local non-profit organizations throughout the year. 

Held at the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts, the event connected nonprofits with community leaders, business professionals, and corporate philanthropists to create a lasting impact. Nearly 600 locals voted to award funding to 10 charities across Orange, Osceola, Brevard, and Seminole counties to help advance their missions!

Giving back through legal services

Associate Attorney Lisa Super recently joined the RPPTL: Fellows service project on Amelia Island, partnering with a local legal aid organization to host a Wills and Advance Directives Clinic. This initiative helped seniors in Northeast Florida secure essential legal documents for their future. 

Spreading joy at Give Kids the World Village!

Joanne Prescott, Shareholder at ZKS, volunteered alongside fellow Judge William Wieland Inn of Court members at Give Kids the World Village, bringing joy through activities like manicures and temporary tattoos, uplifting wish families during their visits.

Celebrating a community champion!

Congratulations to Shareholder and CEO William Robbinson, Jr. for receiving the Community Champion award at the Night of Dreams fundraiser hosted by CECO! This honor recognizes Bill’s dedication to supporting children and young adults with developmental disabilities. We’re proud to see his commitment to the community celebrated!
