As a highly-skilled Central Florida commercial attorney, N. Dwayne Gray, Jr. has proudly practiced corporate, real estate, and affordable housing law at ZKS since 2009.
With nearly 40 years in the legal profession, Dwayne runs a broad commercial practice, primarily representing general businesses, commercial banks and credit unions, handling lending matters, and commercial real estate developers with an array of projects from multifamily housing and assisted living facilities to shopping centers and car washes. He also serves clients developing and managing affordable housing communities with a further specialization in Section 42 LIHTC (tax credit) funded multifamily segment.
Dwayne represents clients throughout the entire state of Florida and clients who have projects in the Southeastern U.S. including Georgia, the Carolinas, Tennessee, and Texas.
As their trusted legal advisor, Dwayne enjoys assisting his clients in solving problems throughout the life cycle of their business and transactions. He values working as a member of his clients’ teams to make an impact on the local community. As he travels around the Central Florida area, Dwayne recognizes the fruits of their labor in the real estate that his clients develop and own.
Dwayne is proud to support a number of long-standing clients who he counts among his friends as they have watched their families and businesses grow alongside one another over the years. Through those valued relationships, he is grateful to be a substantial contributor to ZKS.
Throughout his legal career, Dwayne has had experience in litigation, lender representation, and the transactional side of real estate development at well-renowned local law firms, including his own.
As a shareholder, Dwayne deeply values the culture ZKS has cultivated over the years through growth, maturity, and change. Dwayne is proud that ZKS is dedicated to providing premier legal services to their clients through responsiveness and sound legal advice. He also believes that the attitude and culture at ZKS creates more productive attorneys which results in better client service.
With a passion for helping those less fortunate, Dwayne and his wife, Lynette, are proud to support nonprofits including United Against Poverty and various other faith-based organizations that assist the homeless community of Central Florida.
When he is not working to support his clients, Dwayne enjoys cooking Creole and Cajun dishes inspired by his Louisiana roots, playing golf, and finding peace in the outdoors through fishing. After living in Maitland for over thirty years to raise their four now-grown children, Dwayne and Lynette moved to New Smyrna Beach, and look forward to spending more time traveling.
