Sarah Janetzke is an Associate Attorney at ZKS Law in the corporate division, where she focuses on drafting contracts and reviewing documents related to corporate and securities law. Sarah is eager to establish her legal career and contribute to the firm’s diverse practice areas.
Sarah began her journey at ZKS during a clerkship in the summer of 2023, where she developed a strong appreciation for the firm’s culture and collaborative environment. Before joining ZKS, she interned with the Honorable Paul C. Huck in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida, where she gained experience in legal research and drafting on issues involving personal jurisdiction, venue, and criminal sentencing.
Sarah earned her Juris Doctor, cum laude, from the University of Florida Levin College of Law in 2024. She was an Articles Editor for the Journal of Law and Public Policy during law school and was part of the Alternative Dispute Resolution Team. She also worked as a research assistant and earned several honors, including the Governor’s Scholarship and the Book Award in Constitutional Law.
Sarah is a double Gator, having also earned her Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Visual Art Studies from the University of Florida in 2020. Her arts and social sciences background informs her balanced approach to legal problem-solving, allowing her to integrate creativity with analytical thinking.
Sarah enjoys painting, ceramics, cooking, and exploring Orlando’s restaurant scene in her free time. She’s also passionate about trivia and dreams of someday competing on Jeopardy. As a devoted cat owner, she finds joy in the company of her orange cat, Calcifer.
Sarah’s proactive approach and dedication to preventing legal issues before they arise make her a valuable addition to the ZKS Law team.
