David’s practice focuses on probate administration, where he assists families in navigating the legal processes after losing a loved one, including court filings, beneficiary communications, and estate closures. In guardianship law, he provides compassionate guidance to families managing the care of minor children or incapacitated adults, emphasizing dignity and fairness. As a mediator, David specializes in disentangling probate, trust, and guardianship disputes, fostering resolution and collaboration.
David began his legal career after earning a business finance degree and pursuing law at the University of Florida. Inspired by his father’s aspiration to study law, David transitioned into the field, blending his business acumen with legal expertise. Over the years, he has held significant roles, including President and Chair of the Florida Legal Education Association, where he organized Florida’s largest probate law seminar, and President and Chair of Florida Lawyer Support Services, which develops probate and guardianship forms used statewide. He created the Florida Bar’s Council of Sections to give voice to the interests of the Bar’s various practice areas.
Outside of his professional achievements, David is a dedicated athlete and has been state champion in the shot put. He actively participates in age-group athletics and enjoys kayaking and trail biking. An avid nature enthusiast, David spends time in the Everglades exploring wildlife trails.
