Onboarding new leadership

We’re excited to welcome several outstanding attorneys whose experience deepens our capabilities across key practice areas:

Sancha Brennan joins ZKS as a Shareholder. A Fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel (ACTEC), Sancha focuses on guardianship, probate, and trust administration. She also serves as Chair of the Legislation Committee for the Real Property, Probate, and Trust Law Section of the Florida Bar. Her strategic guidance and leadership enhance our firm’s commitment to thoughtful, effective counsel.

David Brennan has joined ZKS as Of Counsel. Focusing on probate and trust administration, guardianship law, and mediation, David brings a personalized and compassionate approach to sensitive family matters. He previously served as President of the Florida Legal Education Association and is a strong advocate for ethical, efficient resolution.

Waheeda Ghani is the newest addition to our corporate and real estate teams. Specializing in tax-efficient transactions and Tax Controversy, Waheeda advises clients on audits, penalty-abatement hearings, and criminal tax issues. Her analytical approach and industry experience make her a valuable asset to our clients and our firm.

Supporting mental health advocacy

Shareholder Laura Sundberg recently spoke at Silver Hill Hospital’s conference on neuropsychiatric brain disease, where she provided legal insights on mental health law and the importance of restoring dignity through community and advocacy.

Engaging with the next generation

Shareholder Sarah Pape and Judge Barbara Leach visited Andover Elementary’s 4th-grade gifted class for their annual Constitution Day discussion. Students asked thoughtful questions and engaged in conversation about the U.S. legal system, fostering early interest in civic education.

Connecting over culinary creativity

Shareholder William H. Robbinson, Jr., enjoyed an unforgettable evening at the Winter Park Chamber of Commerce event, featuring a special cooking demo and tasting with Master Chef Mario Pagán. Held at the Emeril Lagasse Foundation Kitchen House, it was a perfect night of great food, connections, and community!

Supporting industry conversations

ZKS Law proudly hosted and sponsored the RMA Central Florida Chapter’s networking social and panel on Demystifying SBA Lending. Shareholder Sarah Pape moderated the discussion, covering timely updates and changes in SBA lending.
