Brent Kimball is a Shareholder in the firm’s Family Law practice group. Brent focuses his practice on all aspects of family law litigation and has extensive experience representing clients in complex and high-conflict matters, including high-net-worth dissolution actions involving financial and parenting issues. Throughout his career, Brent has successfully handled all stages of litigation and trial, including case strategy, negotiation, motion practice, and courtroom advocacy.
Prior to joining ZKS, Brent practiced for over fifteen years in Central Florida law firms, where he represented clients in a wide range of litigation matters and secured favorable outcomes in high-stakes disputes. In addition to his litigation experience, Brent has extensive experience in drafting, negotiation, and case analysis and is known for his thoughtful and strategic approach to representation. He understands that family law matters are often emotionally and financially charged for clients and strives to provide steady guidance and practical solutions throughout the legal process.
Originally from Concord, New Hampshire, Brent has lived in Orlando since childhood. He earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Florida Levin College of Law, where he served as President of the Real Property Law Society and received the Book Award in Trial Practice. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of Central Florida, where he was recognized for academic excellence and essay writing.
Brent is admitted to practice in Florida and the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida. He has also served as a Guardian ad Litem and has been involved with several community and professional organizations throughout Central Florida.
