Geraldine Asher practices commercial litigation at Zimmerman Kiser Sutcliffe. She represents clients in a wide range of complex business disputes, guiding them through litigation with a thoughtful, strategic approach. Geraldine has experience handling matters in both state and federal courts, including commercial litigation, appellate matters, and business-related disputes.
Geraldine has wanted to become an attorney since middle school, when she attended a career day presentation by a lawyer. Drawn to the profession by her love of reading and writing, she pursued a legal career focused on helping clients navigate complex areas of the law with confidence and clarity.
Before joining ZKS, Geraldine practiced commercial litigation at national and regional law firms, represented clients in complex business matters, served as an Adjunct Faculty member at Barry University School of Law teaching appellate brief writing, and completed judicial clerkships with the Fifth District Court of Appeal and the Florida Supreme Court.
Geraldine earned her Juris Doctor, summa cum laude, from Barry University School of Law, where she graduated first in her class and served as Editor-in-Chief of the Barry Law Review. She received her bachelor’s degree in political science, magna cum laude, from the University of North Florida.
Geraldine enjoys helping clients work through challenging legal issues while building lasting relationships. She also appreciates ZKS’s supportive culture and the firm’s commitment to honoring its employees and their families, allowing her to feel supported both as an attorney and as a mother.
Outside of the office, Geraldine enjoys spending time with her husband and three young children. After spending two years in New Mexico, where her family built a new community away from home, they recently returned to the Orlando area and are excited to be back near family and friends. Although they’re happy to be home, they still miss the Sandia Mountains and mornings filled with hot air balloons. On the weekends, Geraldine enjoys gathering with family for large dinners, visiting local parks, and making memories at Disney.
