Before entering the legal profession, Austin spent four years as a high school English teacher. This experience continues to shape his work as an attorney, strengthening his ability to break down nuanced concepts, think critically, and guide clients through challenging situations with confidence. His background in teaching, combined with his analytical mindset, allows him to approach legal matters with both structure and perspective.
Austin is particularly drawn to the problem-solving nature of the legal field. He enjoys analyzing complex issues, working through challenges, and helping clients find effective paths forward. He also values the team-oriented environment at ZKS, where colleagues support one another to deliver strong client outcomes.
Austin began his legal career with ZKS as a summer clerk in 2024 and continued working with the firm throughout his final year of law school. Upon graduation, he joined the firm full-time, initially practicing in commercial litigation before transitioning to real estate, where he could focus on transactional work and collaborate more closely with clients at every stage of the process.
