Ava M. Sigman practices in commercial litigation and family law, representing clients in complex disputes and guiding them through each stage of the legal process. She advises both individuals and businesses, handling matters from initial case assessment through trial and appeal.

Ava brings substantial courtroom experience to her practice, having taken multiple cases through jury trial and successfully handled appellate matters. She is particularly drawn to courtroom advocacy and thrives in that environment. She is known for her ability to think quickly and respond effectively in high-pressure courtroom settings.

Her background in English and rhetoric, combined with her experience as a stage performer, enhances both her written advocacy and courtroom presentation. Ava approaches each case with precision and clarity, developing persuasive arguments and delivering them with confidence.

Ava earned her Juris Doctor, cum laude, from the University of Florida Levin College of Law, where she served as a Managing Editor of The Florida Law Review and competed on the Alternative Dispute Resolution Team. She also worked as a teaching assistant in Legal Writing and Legal Research. Ava received her bachelor’s degree in English, with a minor in rhetoric, from Pennsylvania State University. She is a member of The Florida Bar and the Orange County Bar Association.

When she is not practicing law, Ava enjoys music and creative pursuits. With a background in singing and live performance, she maintains a strong connection to the stage, which continues to shape her confidence and presence in the courtroom.
