Jodi Middleton practices in the workers’ compensation practice group at ZKS. Jodi’s practice is devoted to defending employers, carriers, and servicing agents in Florida workers’ compensation cases. Her practice also includes workers’ compensation defense at the appellate level before the First District Court of Appeal.

Jodi brings more than twenty-six years of workers’ compensation litigation experience. She has represented clients statewide and has appeared before most of the Judges of Compensation Claims in Florida. Jodi has significant experience defending these claims on behalf of employers in the hospitality, hotel, and construction industries.

Jodi was appointed to serve on the Workers’ Compensation Rules Advisory Committee from 2017–2022 and became the Committee Chair in 2022. She also served on the Rules Committee from 2017–2023 and was Chair of the Committee for the 2022–2023 term. Jodi has also been an active volunteer with the Guardian ad Litem program.

Jodi received her B.A. from Wake Forest University and graduated from the University of Georgia School of Law, cum laude, with her Juris Doctor.
