Bio

Nicholas Mari is an Associate Attorney in ZKS’s commercial litigation practice group, advocating for the interests of ZKS’s wide variety of commercial clients in state and federal courts.

Nicholas has been practicing civil litigation since graduating from Emory University School of Law, cum laude, in 2016. Throughout his career, he has had the opportunity to represent individuals, business, insurance companies, and governmental entities in various types of civil litigation. Nicholas has experience handling cases from pre-suit evaluation and investigation through discovery, trial, and appeal.  He appreciates the ability to use his expertise to help others navigate complex legal issues.

Nicholas is an Orlando native and recognizes the importance of giving back to his local community.  In addition to the legal work that he performs for ZKS clients, Nicholas donates his time by volunteering with Patriot Service Dogs, a non-profit dedicated to training and placing service dogs with disabled veterans at no cost, and other local organizations.  At ZKS, Nicholas appreciates working alongside an impressive, team-driven group of attorneys at a firm with strong values and a desire to assist others.

Nicholas was recognized in the 2024 and 2025 editions of the Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch® in America for his work in commercial litigation.  He is admitted to practice in the State of Florida, the Supreme Court of the United States, the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals, and the U.S. District Courts for the Middle, Southern, and Northern Districts in Florida.

When he is not advocating for his clients, Nicholas enjoys spending time with his wife and their families, exploring the outdoors, trying out a new recipe in the kitchen, and playing ice hockey.
