ZKS Serves as Lead Counsel on Affordable Housing Development

ZKS served as lead counsel to Wendover Housing Partners in advancing Catchlight Crossings, a mixed-use development that will ultimately bring 1,000 affordable and workforce housing units to Orlando.

Phase I marks the beginning of this community-focused project on Destination Parkway, in partnership with Housing For Tomorrow Corp. Special recognition to Lisa Super and John Grygiel for their work in advancing this important initiative.

Welcoming Our Newest Shareholders

We are pleased to welcome Amy Shay and Matt Pearce as new shareholders at ZKS. Amy brings significant experience in complex civil matters, investigations, and trial advocacy. Supporting Access to Justice at the Breakfast of Champions

ZKS attorneys William Robbinson, Jr., Joanne Prescott, Pam Foels, Tim Schulte, and Madeline Chmelir attended the 18th Annual Breakfast of Champions hosted by the Legal Aid Society of the Orange County Bar Association, Inc. The event highlighted the vital role Legal Aid plays in expanding access to justice across Orange County. Our attorneys were honored to support this mission and connect with fellow advocates committed to pro bono service.

A Night of Flavor, Fun & Giving Back

Shareholder William Robbinson, Jr. attended Tacos ‘N Tequila, presented by Moye O’Brien and Marcadao 28, for an evening of live music, great food, and community connection. The event welcomed 250 guests and raised support for children’s charities across Central Florida. We are grateful to be part of a community that comes together to make a meaningful difference.

Volunteering with Give Kids The World Village

Shareholders Joanne Prescott and Juliana Schmidt recently volunteered with Give Kids The World Village, a nonprofit that provides cost-free vacations to children with critical illnesses and their families. We are proud to support an organization that creates moments of joy and hope for families during challenging times.

Supporting Central Florida Nonprofits at the Victory Cup Initiative

Several ZKS attorneys attended this year’s Victory Cup Initiative Breakfast to celebrate the vital work of nonprofit organizations across Central Florida.

The Top 9 finalists shared powerful impact stories, with each organization receiving funding and valuable exposure. We are proud to support events that strengthen the nonprofit community and amplify the voices making a difference in our region.

Sips & Stamps: An Evening Around the World

ZimmerWomen recently hosted Sips & Stamps, an evening celebrating connection and culture. Guests received “passports” and explored global experiences, including henna art, origami, festive Brazilian traditions, and the rich aromas of Malaysian spices.

Florida Bankers Association Consumer Compliance Seminar

ZKS attorneys will be presenting at the Florida Bankers Association Consumer Compliance Seminar on March 11.

One session will focus on best practices for processing subpoenas, garnishments, and tax levies. Shareholder Ernest H. “Skip” Kohlmyer, III, LL.M., will present separately on the Federal and Florida TCPA.
