Congratulations to Andrew Thompson, who was recently honored with the Rising Star Award by The Florida Bar’s Real Property, Probate and Trust Law Section and featured in the Orlando Business Journal’s People on the Move. Both recognitions highlight his leadership, accomplishments, and continued contributions to the legal community.

Sancha Brennan was also recently re-elected to the Executive Committee of The Florida Bar’s Real Property, Probate and Trust Law Section as Director of the Probate & Trust Division. Her re-election reflects her continued leadership, dedication, and respected standing within Florida’s legal community.

ZKS attorneys, staff, and their families recently gathered at Aloma Bowl for an evening of fun, good food, and time together outside the office. Family Bowling Night was a great opportunity to connect and celebrate the people who make ZKS special.

The latest ZKS Super Day brought attorneys and staff together for a full day of learning and connection. Highlights included a presentation by Anthony Santos on the firm’s business side, a welcome for Associate Attorney Geraldine Asher, and the introduction of a new cross-marketing initiative to strengthen collaboration across practice areas.

ZKS attorneys and Summer Associates recently enjoyed an evening cheering on Orlando Pride. The outing offered a chance to connect outside the office, strengthen relationships, and celebrate the collaborative culture that makes ZKS unique.

ZKS was proud to support a Victory Cup Initiative event that brought together more than 200 nonprofit leaders and organizations from across Central Florida. We’re grateful to be recognized as the Victory Cup Alumni Initiative Sponsor and to help strengthen connections across the local nonprofit community.

The ZKS team recently volunteered with The Daily Bread, helping serve meals to individuals and families experiencing food insecurity. We’re grateful to support an organization that provides nourishment and compassionate care throughout Central Florida.

The ZimmerWomen community gathered for a golf-inspired networking event filled with meaningful conversations, new connections, and plenty of fun. The evening celebrated the value of creating spaces where women can support one another and grow their professional networks.

ZKS recently welcomed clients and members of the Central Florida business community for an Executive Briefing led by shareholders Lori W. Smith and Kevin Lienard. The discussion covered timely human resources, employment law, and workers’ compensation issues affecting Florida employers.

ZKS continues to host monthly Women of Leadership in Finance meetings, bringing women in the industry together to build relationships, exchange ideas, and learn from one another. This month’s gathering featured a wine tasting and presentation led by business executive and sommelier Tess Honan.

ZKS recently welcomed the Cypress Bank & Trust team for an afternoon of conversation and collaboration. The mixer offered an opportunity to strengthen professional relationships, exchange ideas, and continue building connections across Central Florida’s business community.

As an annual sponsor of ACG Orlando, ZKS was pleased to take part in the organization’s Progressive Lunch and connect with leaders across Central Florida’s middle-market community. Shareholder Sarah Pape attended on behalf of the firm, helping strengthen relationships and build new professional connections.

ZKS proudly sponsored a recent ATHENA NextGen session, where Ava Sigman moderated a panel of Ninth Judicial Circuit judges on collaboration, integrity, consensus-building, and finding common ground. Sarah Pape, Sarah Studzinski, and Madeline Chmelir also represented ZKS at the event.

ZKS hosted an evening reception during the ACA International Convention, welcoming clients, colleagues, and professionals from across the accounts receivable management and credit and collection industry. Hosted by Shareholder Ernest “Skip” Kohlmyer, the event offered an opportunity to reconnect, build new relationships, and strengthen industry connections.

ZKS hosted Resource Consulting Group for a networking mixer, bringing attorneys and advisors together to build relationships, exchange insights, and strengthen professional connections. We’re grateful to everyone who joined us and look forward to more opportunities to connect and collaborate.
